Warranty

Unless stated, all phones repaired have 90 days limited warranty, if the product is defective in materials during the warranty period and is returned at customer's expenses to “Buy Low Mobile Phone Repairs”, the product will be repaired at no charge, a proof of sale is required.

This limited warranty does not cover:

•  Cosmetic damage

•  Dead phones

•  Water damage

Failure or defects caused by misuse, abuse, accident, physical damage, abnormal operation, improper handling or storage, neglect, alternation, removal or repairs, failure to follow instructions, exposure to fire, water, liquid, food.

This warranty does not cover customer education, instruction, installation or removal, set up adjustments, problems related to service provided by a carrier or other service provider.

BUY LOW MOBILE PHONE REPAIR PROCEDURES

•  PACKAGING

Please ensure that the handset is well wrapped and packaged to prevent damage of any kind to the item that is sent to our Repair Center , as we cannot be held responsible for any units that have been damaged in transit. Please do not send the phone in its original box. If the fault is a power/charging fault then please also send in the battery and charger so we can asses and eliminate all possibilities of fault.

•  SIM /MEMORY CARDS

It is imperative that the sim/memory card is removed and kept safe. It must not be returned with the phone and we cannot accept any responsibility for cards, credit on pre-pay cards, or call charges on contract phones. If we do receive a sim/memory card it will be disposed of on site for security reasons . Please remember to treat your sim as you would a bank or credit card.

•  DATA /WAP SETTINGS/RING TONES & LOGOS

Please be aware that part of the test procedure may include upgrading the software on your phone. If the memory is cleared and reset as part of the repair process, Buy Low Mobile Phone Repairs cannot be held responsible for any numbers or data lost.

•  INFORMATION

Please include the following information with the handset: - your full name, address details and a daytime telephone number and fax or e-mail address. Please clearly state the nature of the fault and indicate if this fault is intermittent by filling our service request form . Please print out the service request form and send it together with your phone and remember to keep one copy for your own record. You can use our tracing phone repair facility on our website at www.buylowmobiles.co.nz to find out the status of your phone.

•  POSTAGE

Send your phone using signature require courier post or Special Delivery to ensure traceability. We suggest nothing is written on the outer packaging that would indicate the contents for extra security.

•  WARRANTY

If the unit is in warranty the engineer will repair or replace the phone depending on the manufacturers procedure (proof of purchased require). Physical or liquid damage is not covered by manufacturer's warranty.

•  PROOF OF PURCHASE

A copy of the proof of purchase must accompany the phone to validate the warranty. The warranty only applies to the phone if purchased at any Buy Low Mobile Phone retail store . Failure to supply requested information (eg: Receipt) may delay the turnaround time of your repair.

•  CHARGES

The following handling/inspection charges are applicable:

Physically damaged or liquid ingress $25.00NZD + $5.70NZD Freight

No Fault Found F.O.C + $5.70NZD Freight

Beyond Economical Repair F.O.C + $5.70NZD Freight

Refusing an Estimate F.O.C + $5.70NZD Freight

Disposal of unit F.O.C + $5.70NZD Freight

The following repair charges are applicable:

Please Note :

The above are minimum repair charges prior to engineer inspection and prices can vary and all the above prices exclude GST. All estimates are sent in advance to customers prior to any work being carried out (note charge above for refused estimate).

F.O.C means ‘Free Of Charge'

If your phone cannot be repaired, with your permission we can safely dispose of your equipment to save return P&P costs or we may buy your damaged phone at reasonable price.

A minimum $25 inc GST will be charge and not refundable.
